Do you like to watch sports on TV?
No, I don’t. I have never been a big fan of sports. What I would rather watch is some thought-provoking and suspenseful TV series on Netflix, HBO, AMC, and Amazon channels; however, when it comes to big events like the World Cup or Olympic Games, I prefer to watch some matches in the company of my friends. Do you play any sports?
In the past, I used to do TAEKWONDO; but after 9 years of doing it, I gave up because I had to deal with my studies at university. These days, my physical activities are restricted to jogging at a park in the vicinity of my home and trekking mountains in the countryside. IELTS Speaking part 23
Which are the popular sports in your country?
Like many countries in the world, Iranians are big fans of soccer, volleyball, and basketball and wrestling. When it comes to soccer matches between local teams, here in Tehran, where I live, the highways leading to Azadi Stadium become jam-packed, and every talk is the talk of soccer. Who is your favorite sports star?
As I told you before, I am not a fervent fan of sports, thus I have none. But, if I have to choose one among the ones I somehow familiar with, I would choose Zeidan, who has been a real universal star to my eyes, because I think he is the very symbol of an arduous man with a magnificent charisma.
What kinds of sports would you like to try in the future?
I would definitely go for sports that offer a great deal of excitement such as windsurfing, skydiving, and snorkeling. I really wanna experience the unexpected and unpredictable and be overjoyed by the opening up of new dimensions to me. IELTS Speaking part 23
Do you do any physical exercise?
Well, as I already pointed out, I have limited my physical exercises to daily jogging in a park and some trekking in the mountains; but I wish I could experience the exciting exercises that I told you about.
Do young people in your country like to do exercise?
Of course, they do. I am an exception because of my current situation, but most of the people I know around me set going to gym as their first priority in their life, especially going to bodybuilding gym. IELTS Speaking part 23
